Connecting to a Cutler-Hammer SVX9000 or an HVX9000 Adjustable Frequency Drive
9000XDrive is a PC Based Software commisioning tool for use with SVX9000 or HVX9000 Variable Frequency Drives
This program can upload and download parameter files to and from the VFD
You can also monitor live data from the VFD
You can control the VFD with Stop/Start and Speed functionality
Also, the fault history can be downloaded with statistics available
from the time of the fault. Items that are saved at the time of
the fault are: Motor Current, Motor Voltage, VFD Temperature, DC
Bus Voltage, Output Frequency and more.
The cable used to connect to the VFD is a 9 pin serial cable using only
pins 2, 3 & 5. This is very important because if you use a
cable with any other pins connected, you may harm your PC. This
port on the VFD also has voltage on other pins that supplies power to
the Keypad on the front of the drive.
Release Notes
Each VFD also has an Application file associated with it. These application files also need to be in the C:/AFEngine/Applications folder.
